Toby is a multi-award-winning Writer, Director, Producer and Executive Producer.
Toby has written numerous television and film projects in an array of genres. He has directed two of Screenography’s projects, one of which won over 40 awards globally, and other of which has received widespread industry attention for its cutting-edge tech and workflows.
Toby has worked at executive level on all his projects and has raised finance, structured deals and has an intricate understanding of the commercial side of the film and television industry.
Toby has a wealth of production experience on location and in the studio, including integrating the newest technologies into a shoot. Working with technical partners, he is at the forefront of pioneering new workflows at all stages of production.

James is award-winning Executive Producer. Before this he spent most of his career in banking, specialising in Media and Green Energy. Since 2019, he has worked in the media space, raising money for film and TV projects.
Having lived and breathed the banking world for many years, James’ lust for creativity took over: he was compelled to spend his prodigious energy on creating new worlds at executive level.
But he also took inspiration from the characters he met and insider information he learned. With these he created The Contractor… a world so unbelievable it must be true…
Sarah is an award-winning Producer, Costume Designer and Actress. She is also a documentary filmmaker.
Formerly in the British Army, she has authored two books on medieval history. With a lifelong interest in military history, she is currently writing a feature film adapted from a World War II memoir. She is also developing a comedy series based on her experiences in medieval academia. As an actress, her most recent projects have been winning awards at festivals over the last two years.
Tom produces and directs his own projects through his own production company, Substantial Films, that he has run for successfully for over a decade with a significant output of creative content including several feature films. He has thus proved himself capable of managing large projects whilst forging a successful entrepreneurial path in the independent film sector.
He also works as an editor and post-production supervisor for a broad range of filmmakers, production companies and studios.
In 2010, Tom dropped out of film school and cut his teeth shooting and editing a series of documentaries filmed in eight different countries, including stints in Indonesia, India, The Gambia and the US. These documentaries have since racked up more than two million views on YouTube.
In 2014, Tom produced and directed his first feature film - Backtrack, which starred Julian Glover (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Game of Thrones) and was picked up by Netflix in the UK. His second film The Holly Kane Experiment starred Nicky Henson (Syriana, Vera Drake) and was released in North America, the UK, Germany and across Asia through 108 Media in 2017. His third film Rupert, Rupert & Rupert was released in the US and UK in 2019 by Global Digital Releasing and was nominated for Best Comedy at the National Film Awards in 2020. In 2021, Tom completed Decrypted with Sophia Myles (Transformers: Age of Extinction), Amanda Abbington (Sherlock) and Kevin McNally (Pirates of the Caribbean).
He has recently been editor and post-production supervisor Screenography’s production The Contractor, a groundbreaking, hour-long TV pilot where multiple established tech, equipment and production companies have come together to produce something that is disruptive to the industry, with new workflows and technologies being tested and perfected for the first time.
As an editor, Tom has overseen the entire post-production process on festival favourite Into the Mirror and the recently-completed A Love Worth Fighting For.
Juliette is a producer with a wide range of on-set and Virtual Production experience. She has used her experience and expertise to have co-produced The Contractor pilot, being the lead producer for Mo-Sys and also the Virtual Production supervisor for the project. She has directed and is an experienced assistant director.
Having both the technical background and practical producing experience, she is invaluable where a project requires any kind of strategic oversight.
She is adept at helping project creators achieve their creative vision by assisting in production or technical roles for feature film, short film, streamer and broadcast productions.
